Refunds & Returns Policy
You can cancel anytime before the order is shipped for all items except personalised/customised items. Any personalized items can be cancelled only within 24 hours of placing the order.
How do I return an item(s)?
Giftzania gives you the option to return purchased item(s). Any order that has been shipped, falls within a returnable category and is within the 14 days limit from the date of delivery, can be filed for return.
Returns Terms and Conditions
You have 14 calendar days to return an item from the date you received it except for damaged items. Any damaged items must be reported within 5 days of receipt of the item. Claims beyond 5 days will not be accepted. To be eligible for all other returns:
- Your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it.
- Your item must be in the original packaging with all serial numbers and tags.
- Your item needs to have the receipt or proof of purchase.
- You have received a wrong item or it is not as described on the site.
No returns, replacement or exchange of items is possible in the following instances:
- Items purchased on Sale or Discount or during a Promotion.
- Products that have been used or damaged by you or are not in the same condition as you received them.
- Any consumable product which has been used or installed.
- Products with tampered or missing serial numbers or tags.
- Products that fall under specific categories, including food, beverages, personal clothing, CDs/DVDs, personalised items.
- Personalized items which you requested to be designed especially for you.
- Items that are not in original condition and packaging.
- Damaged items due to misuse or showing signs of wear and tear.
- Items that have been assembled, used, altered, or installed unless defective.
- Item that were sealed and required their hygienic level to be intact from the manufacturer.
- If we suspect a return to be fraudulent, abusive or unduly repetitive, we reserve the right to refuse it and no returns will be granted.
- Contact customer support email email@example.com and explain the reason for refund/returns.
- Email subject line should clearly mention the words : REFUND/RETURN REQUEST
- The email should contain the following:
- Full name on the order
- Order number
- Reason for Return
- We will contact you within 24 – 48 hours of receipt of your email.
- If the return/exchange claim needs to be authenticated we will send you the return address and return order number.
- Once we receive and inspect the item to fully comply with our return policy we notify you about the status of your request.
- Return shipping is borne by the customer in all instances except if the product delivered was damaged or not as described on the site.
- We advise customers to use insured return shipping preferably with tracking.
- Any item lost in transit by the return shipping company will not be the responsibility of Giftzania.
If your return is approved, we will initiate a refund to your credit card (or original method of payment) and inform you once the process has been initiated. This may take 3 to 4 working days. You will receive the credit within 30 to 45 days, depending on your card issuer’s policies after the refund has been processed. Please check with your Credit card company or Bank to follow up on approved refund payments. You can choose to either receive store credits or refund to your original payment method.
